Connect your AI
Connect your AI to RIRLift
RIRLift doesn't run its own AI. Instead, you connect the assistant you already use — Claude or ChatGPT — to your training. Once connected, it can read a summary of your RIRLift training on demand, answer questions with your real numbers, and even draft a program that comes back into the app for you to review and import.
You set this up once, from a computer. It takes about a minute.
Choose your assistant
- Connect Claude — add RIRLift as a custom connector on claude.ai.
- Connect ChatGPT — add RIRLift as a custom connector in ChatGPT developer mode.
What you'll need
- RIRLift Pro. The connection is a Pro feature. You can start it from Ask your AI → Connect your AI in the app.
- A computer with a web browser. Custom connectors can't be added from the Claude or ChatGPT mobile apps — you add the connector on the web, then pair it with your phone using a one-time code the app shows you.
- A minute. The app shows an 8-digit pairing code and a connector address; you paste the address into your AI and enter the code.
What your AI can read
When you ask about your training, your AI receives a summary: your volume per muscle, strength trends, effort accuracy, muscle recovery, your routines, and your recent workouts — including exercise names, loads, reps and your RIR ratings. It never receives your heart rate or anything from Apple Health, your name, email or device identifiers, or your private workout notes.
Your data only travels while you're connected. Disconnect any time from the app, and RIRLift deletes the training data it uploaded.
